Poppies

Had lots of experiences over the last month or so. Had a great time at St James park. Will be going again to see the Pelicans being fed soon. Went to Wood school, little fella is fascinated with fire. Been looking at fossils and stuffed animals in Tring. Projects on sharks and Castles started. We have nearly finished Sharks, Castles just starting. My favourite thing this month. Our poppy project. We read poems, drew poppies, coloured them stuck them and wore the ones we bought with pride. When we were buying them. The elderly serviceman said to Ryver, thank you son, do you know why we wear poppies? Ryver replied, Yes, because we remember, don't we mum. The Serviceman was so surprised that someone so young could answer him like that. He really had a lump in his throat.
