Hello

Hello!

Gosh I haven't been here for way to long. How are you? I have been so busy doing lots of different things. I will elaborate below.

I came back from Australia at the end of November 2010. I have many photos and stories that I will share with you over the coming weeks. But, Australia is the land of Sun, sea, and Mentos! I love Mentos and could not believe the many different flavours and choices there were. Mint strawberry, cola, cinnamon, lemon and lime. Sweets, chewing gum all sorts. Big packets, small packets, fun size packets. I was like a kid in a candy store!!

More seriously though I stayed in Brisbane for most of my time. It is really sad to see such a beautiful place suffer at the moment. The photo on the top of this blog was affected by the floods, my family in Brisbane have been affected but not flooded out of their homes thankfully. These photos show the scale of the floods.

I also stayed in, Melbourne, Sydney, Wachope and Montville. I will dedicate later blog post to each of these places.

I moved home 5 days before Christmas. Snow, Ice, -7 temperature, slipping and sliding and that was just the driving, in to our new home. We are still trying to get ourselves sorted. That said, I do love my new home.

This year my whole family have come down with different versions of the flu. I haven't felt that ill for such a long time. Ryver even had to have antibiotics. Christmas and New Year were spent taking care of the poorly or being poorly!

I have started to use twitter more now, my name is tinasstuff add me if you fancy. Still don't know all the things to do, but I am starting to
pick it up.

Oh the other thing I am going to do this year is knit some socks, Laura my friend has offered
to help me. I can knit squares and scarfs, time to expand to corners or heels I think. Even though the sight of a double ended knitting needle makes me feel wobbly.

Phew that was a long post by my standards.
